Karan Kontra

Karan, the owner and founder of Passionate Sole Reflexology, has been a Certified Reflexologist since 2017. She trained through Baltimore School of Reflexology from 2015 to 2017. She also has a Master’s Degree in Human Services Counseling with a major emphasis in Christian Life Coaching from Liberty University, a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, and an Associates in Allied Health. She currently works full-time as a paraprofessional in Special Education and practices reflexology on a part-time basis, with a strong desire to practice reflexology on a full-time basis in the future.

I began practicing reflexology because I experienced the benefits first hand. “As a reflexologist, I can confidently say you should experience a full-body response during and after a reflexology session.  I know this because I was a client before I became a practitioner.  I was plagued with debilitating sciatic pain that was not relieved by chiropractics or physical therapy.  My friend who is a reflexologist asked me to come to her for a complimentary session.  I did, and it was life-changing for me.  After a few subsequent sessions, the sciatic pain was gone! From that point forward, I decided I wanted to be a reflexologist, and I began my training in 2015.  While I do not diagnose or treat illness and my service is not a replacement for medical care, I do know the benefits of reflexology and am passionate about sharing this with others.”
